Our Wedding

Twenty years ago, Andy won Janna in a game of darts. We didn't know it then, but that moment became the start of a lifelong prize. Time, growth, and a second chance led us back to each other - and to this moment.Thank you all for sharing it with us and helping us begin our new chapter.

Where should I Stay?

We have a block of rooms reserved under our names at <a href="https://www.marriott.com/event-reservations/reservation-link.mi?id=1759854721151&amp;key=GRP&amp;app=resvlink" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The Sheraton Station Square</a>; the venue is less than a mile from downtown. If you prefer to stay downtown or the Sheraton is full, <a href="https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/pitktqq-joinery-hotel-pittsburgh/?SEO_id=GMB-AMER-QQ-PITKTQQ&amp;y_source=1_OTU3NDUxNC03MTUtbG9jYXRpb24ud2Vic2l0ZQ%3D%3D" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The Joinery</a>—just across the Smithfield Street Bridge—offers a rooftop deck, and <a href="https://www.wyndhamhotels.com/wyndham-grand/pittsburgh-pennsylvania/wyndham-grand-pittsburgh-downtown/overview?CID=LC:46q62bu8edfbx3y:44831&amp;iata=00093796" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The Wyndham</a> at Point State Park has great river views. Please keep in mind that September is football season and room prices may vary depending on the Steelers schedule so book those rooms early!

Where Can I Park?

Unfortunately, parking is not provided by The Gateway Clipper. However, there is both a parking garage and lot just a short minute walk from where the boat launches. While it is not free, it is very reasonably priced.

Am i stuck on the boat all night?

No. We are not interested in kidnapping you. The boat will make stops during the course of the night and can even make emergency stops not at the docks. You are free to leave at any time.

is it an open bar?

Of course. But please bring cash to tip the bartenders ;)

what happens if it rains?

Don't worry — it’s good luck! There’s also a sizable indoor space for dancing and mingling, so you can warm up, sit down, or take a break whenever you like.

What Guys Need to Know About Dress Codes

We want you to look your best, but also understand that comfort is key on the high seas! Men, feel free to impress in your favorite suit and tie or keep it casual in khakis and a polo. Ladies, your options are endless! Tea-length, knee-length, jumpsuit, or slacks. As long as it's not white, it's ok with us! All we ask is no jeans and, please, ...no Steelers jerseys.

Travel

The Pittsburgh Pirates may be hit-or-miss (mostly miss), but PNC Park is unquestionably one of the most beautiful ballparks in the country. The Pirates are out of town for the wedding weekend, but you can still walk around the park and the surrounding areas, which have beautiful views of the city and lots of fountains, statues, and trails.

I know some of you might have the itch to go out and gamble, Natali's I'm looking at you. The Rivers is right across the river from the hotel and downtown, and has a huge free parking lot. The Casino also has a hotel for those feeling more adventurous in their evening travel.

Rivers Casino

This downtown-adjacent section of Pittsburgh is home to several restaurants, coffee shops, street vendors, and international food markets, and is always a fun place to explore on Saturday or Sunday. Walk down Penn for the old-school feel of small businesses, or check out the new Terminal Building on Smallman for a bright and shiny new vibe.

The Strip District

If pop art is your thing, visit The Andy Warhol Museum on the North Shore — Pittsburgh’s largest museum dedicated to a single artist. It’s an easy add to a North Side sightseeing day; tickets, hours, and current exhibits are listed on their website or call (412) 237-8300 for more info.

Think of the Heinz History Center as Pittsburgh’s six-story attic—only this attic has an 11-foot ketchup bottle and a literal castle. Explore the H.J. Heinz Company exhibits with vintage pickle pins, delivery wagons, and that iconic ketchup bottle, then head to the two-floor “museum-within-a-museum” packed with Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins memorabilia. Don’t miss the actual set and puppets from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood—standing next to King Friday XIII and Daniel Tiger’s clock feels like a warm hug from childhood.
